In 1998, in a spirit of authenticity and quality, Midipy revived the history of Pyrenean wool and one of the region’s most important spinning mills. Today, we extend this activity to virgin wools from the south of France, and always select the finest, softest natural wool. We complete this selection with a small quantity of alpaca wool from South America.
The llama lives on the high plateaus of the Andes. Its fleece comes in a wide variety of shades, from creamy white to dark brown, almost black. It is very soft and voluptuous.
We choose our raw materials after a rigorous selection process. This wool is organic, as it undergoes no dyeing or chemical treatment.
Our natural wool throws and blankets are made in our workshop in the South of France, using ancestral knowledge handed down from generation to generation.
The throw is rolled in its leather strap, handcrafted in France. We sign with a label made of genuine leather, hot stamped and ink free.

The Tuni plaid is a pure alpaca plaid woven in our partner workshop in the South of France. Made exclusively from undyed alpaca wool, it highlights the natural nuances of the fiber to create a unique and refined black and white graphic pattern.
Alpaca, a native of the Andean highlands, develops a warm, silky fleece renowned for its lightness and resistance. Its fiber, finer than that of sheep, gives pure alpaca plaid exceptional softness and natural warmth, without chemical additives or treatments.
Each plaid is carefully woven in our French workshop, where craftsmen perpetuate a textile know-how handed down from generation to generation. The precise weaving of Tuni pure alpaca plaid reveals a supple feel and lively texture, reflecting authentic, local production.
The fine, regular bangs add a touch of movement and lightness to this pure alpaca plaid. They underline the natural beauty of the weave and the purity of the fibers. This simple, meticulous finish complements all interior styles, from the most rustic to the most contemporary.
