# Product care

Being natural materials, our wools and leathers require care to preserve their quality and aesthetic appeal.

## Wool

Make sure you air your throw or blanket regularly to remove dust and keep it fresh, and opt for dry cleaning.

## Leather

For leather, here are our recommendations:

- Clean your item with a damp sponge and make sure it’s dry before storing (flower side: treated, flesh side: no moisture).
- Do not put your article in the dishwasher or soak it in soapy water.
- Avoid placing hot utensils on your items
- Placemats and coasters are treated (graining) against stains of various origins (wine, alcohol, sauces, coffee etc.). Cleaning is done with a sponge and water, and a little liquid soap if necessary.

 ![25 ans après la création de Midipy par Philippe Granet et Denis Paternotte, le flambeau est transmis à leurs neveux, Eloïse Paternotte et Daniel Dumont.
Ces derniers rentrent d’un long voyage en famille autour de l’hémisphère Sud lors duquel ils ont été au contact de pratiques artisanales ancestrales au Laos et en Indonésie. 25 years after Midipy Company has been founded by Philippe Granet and Denis Paternotte, their niece and nephew, Eloïse Paternotte and Daniel Dumont, are delighted to take over the brand.
